He should go to Arkansas. Perfect system, perfect coach for him, and I believe he is from Texarkana.

I'm hearing UCLA, unless UT lands both Michigan coaches

    Re: Mallet leaves Michigan

The problem with Arkansas is that he will not have anything around him. UCLA is very possible to work with Neuhisel IMO. I wouldn't mind him falling to UT, but I only think it happens if we get at least one of the former UM coaches. I don't think we will take both to be honest. Plus, I tend to like what I hear about the Coleman kid, so maybe Mallet wouldn't be the given answer after next season anyway.

    Re: Mallet leaves Michigan

If Mallet goes to Arkansas, Patrino will get him players. Guys like JR Russell, Harry Douglas, and Mario Urudia were basically no names that major schools didnt want and it took very little time for Patrino to develop them. I dont think having weapons would be an issue.

Possibly. How deep is the state of Arkansas right now for prospects? I think Patrino may have a hard time getting some players in with his flopping from team to team.

    Re: Mallet leaves Michigan

Im not really sure about the quality of players from Arkansas but he has 18 committed and the majority of them are from Arkansas. He should be able to cherry pick out of Texas and Florida to get some more skill position players, potentially even the Memphis area which has been good for Arkansas and Ole Miss over the years. I think JR Russell was from the Tampa area. He should have some good inroads. I know he left the Falcons but I dont think he has the reputation of Saban yet and honestly, Saban is cleaning up this recruiting season.
